  1. In case you need to here is where we can put out of character comments.

  2. Even if a STR modifier takes a DMG roll toeless than 1 the result is still a minimum of 1, unless specifically noted. Meaning a damage result of 1d4-5 would still be 1 DMG.

I will assign 1 DMG from Tara to spider 2 to account for this until Maddy tells me it is different.

  3. Maddy, would you like to roll the 10% to stabilize Kaellanna or should I? Also, you can keep controlling Tara until (if) Kaellanna is fully dead, right now she's just dying.

  4. I'm thinking that in order to make a 'speedy' get away, once Kaellanna is up, she and Vel get into his bag of holding with their heads sticking out so that they can breath. Then the warblade picks up the bag and off they go.
Mr. DM - Was the spider man gesturing to direct us out of the trap or specifically which way to go to get out of the jungle?

    1. Spiderman was first pointing which way to go out (A1), and then gesturing around to indicate which way to go to get out of the webbing.

    1. He has the intent to. Perhaps one day he will be a massive force to be reckoned with.

  6. I suppose, in the unlikely event, that Avegnum/Tara manage to drag Kaellanna next to Vel, even if Avegnum puts the CLW wand into the warlock's hands and gets Vel to point at the druid, he couldn't release the spell because he has to say the spell trigger and is currently paralyzed?

  7. So... I'm thinking my previous plan may still be valid (Unless I can roll attack the swarms Mr. DM?). How many/type of actions would be required to place a body in a bag of holding?
I assume a move action would be required to pick the bag up off of some one else?

  8. Would you both check the character status in The Players section to make certain I have to missed anything?

  9. In case there is some confusion I am waiting to see what Kaellanna does with her spells and if the party rests for the needed 8 hours for healing to occur.

  10. What do you all think of publishing dialog as posts rather than comments? There is no formatting in comments, which can be useful.

  11. Against all odds the party made friends with the giant Vik'Gotror. For this Avegnum/Alton gets 3000 XP and Vel and Kaellanna both get 1500 XP.

  12. Just realized, as a 9th Level Druid Kaellanna has immunity to all poisons.

Our druid with non-offensive spells may wish to consider Wild Shaping into say.. a Dire Tiger if the DM says she would be familiar with one. Might just add a combat powerhouse to the mix with that Beastskin Armor enchant(from MIC) she has going, though it does cost an additional wild shape use to alter that too.

    1. Whoops, I now see why that option does not work, nvm.

  13. Nice catch! The druid no longer has STR DMG, and never did. Sorry for the lack of oversight.

  14. I am playing around with the combat status chart so it's easier to use and doesn't give away to much info.

  15. Good idea on representing enemy HP as %

  16. I will post tomorrow night, sorry Matthew. Have to work tomorrow and the bus to get there leaves earlier than usual.

  17. For the drow-scorrow battle Avegnum gets 3075 XP and Kaellanna get 2575 XP.

Because he died and was raised Vel does not get any XP, but looses 1 level and now has the minimum XP for 8th level.

  18. Vel's XP is at the mid point of level 8 not the minimum.

  19. Would Vel's Adamantine Morningstar have been dissolved? I think most of his items he had out apart from the Wand Belt were magical.

Also when you say "Evil (same ethical as before death)" that means he's now technically Chaotic Evil?

    1. Also, what health is Vel at?

    2. The morningstar has been dissolved into a state of uselessness if it is not magical.

Vel is actually CE. The way he thinks is now different. If you don't want to continue playing him as CE you can get rid of him.

      Vel has 0 HP.

  20. As far as I can tell I think that tracking by scent is the most feasible option available to us.

  21. Mr. Sherman, the newbie should be up and posting on Monday, Tuesday at the latest.

Paul, I'll get you an updated character sheet tomorrow or over the weekend. As soon as you get it give me an initiative roll, please.

  22. Paul, when in combat if there is a sequence of PCs that go I will put the initiative indicator next to all their name "<*>" and you can take your turn. Sorry I forgot to put it next to Halvdan.

  23. I added a simple animated map of the last battle on the Map page. Just playing around, but please let me know if any of you have any suggestions

  24. Kyle, I was doing some research on 'stuff' just now and saw that a warlock has to be evil or chaotic. Didn't mean to stymie Vel like that, but have you seen anything about a warlock changing alignment not incompatibility?

  25. Are you two still interested in playing? Do you want to take a break for a while?
